Japanese Meridian Therapy
What is Japanese Meridian Toyohari Therapy
Toyo Hari is a form of Keiraku Chiryo – Japnese Meridian Therapy – This word translated to East Asian Needle Therapy, understanding that the word needle does not always imply an inserted tool, Toyohari is a theoretically simple but technically sophisticated complete system of meridian therapy with a large emphasis on pulse diagnosis and palpation skills. Evolving out of other developments of meridian therapy in the 1930’s and 1940’s the Toyohari Association was founded by Kodo Fukushima in 1959, He and his colleagues decided to establish a separate keiraku chiryo to help blind practitioners to study and practice, this is still the practice today, many senior Sensei’s are vision impaired
